Those were getting announced separately, maybe they’re going back to that cadence?

David M. is his handle on this forum, he is know for his work as Fidelity in Motion (FiM), for being a hotshot encoder that gets legitimately great results. Thus you see his name (or his company's) being bandied around here and there as a mark of quality.

Precisely, very happy that EYES WIDE SHUT and THE COMPLETE KUBRICK were the start of a new relationship. (As previously confirmed, he's working on THE RIGHT STUFF.)

Side note: He is not doing NASHVILLE like I had thought he might be.

Looks like SCARECROW is actually coming from Cinématographe! https://www.instagram.com/p/De11K6Wh3Te/

Hopefully Jerry Schatzberg supervised it so there'll be a more film-like color grade.

Huh, Justin LaLiberty said there weren't going to be any WB titles in the Cinematographe line this year.

VinSyn are known for that type of "that's incorrect" stuff when it's 100% correct. I remember people said a VinSyn employee kept saying that November title wasn't LOOKING FOR MR. GOODBAR when it obviously was.

But this is 100% Max's sister's house in SCARECROW: https://imgur.com/a/dmUngEC

Also set in Denver (so matches the song clue) and fits the "70s masterpiece" tease from earlier this year.

I was thinking about this the other day, as I came into possession of Peter Medak’s annotated script for it via an antiquarian bookshop in L.A., and I’d gladly let Criterion make scans of it.

Purely Random Speculation, but once the Criterion release of Moonlight was hinted at, I was sure that a Criterion release of The Witch was an inevitability. I noticed that A24 is celebrating the film’s anniversary with a merch drop that does not include a release of the film. Seems like a no-brainer if they intended to release it given the occasion and the fact that Werwulf 35mm tickets just went on sale.

Feel it in my (pulverized baby) bones that CC snagged it.

Perhaps Lionsgate still has the physical media distribution rights. They already released a BD and 4K UHD with a commentary, interviews, and Q&A. Not sure what more Criterion would add except a new cover and an essay.

Uncut Gems remains the only A24 film Criterion has released, and that was licensed from Lionsgate.

A24 and Criterion just teamed up again for the Mike Mill set in July but both of those films I believe were Lionsgate licensed. Maybe C’mon C’mon isn’t but I’m pretty sure it is.

Heat, perhaps? The sequel is almost underway filming, and I’d think Disney wouldn’t capitalize with a release of their own since it’s being made by MGM/Amazon. Added to which a couple of Mann’s movies are being released in 4K or about to be announced.

I think Regency (who own Heat and LA Confidential)'s deal with Fox is expiring, and who knows if they plan to renew

C'MON C'MON is Lionsgate as well, yes.

I was thinking for a while that Criterion would get MEMENTO for the US but the fact that Umbrella are opting to bring it to Sundance themselves has me thinking they're gonna release it here as well through their Vinegar Syndrome deal, and why shouldn't they? It's FiM and will sell like hotcakes, and even if Criterion got it, the master would still be the same as Nolan would never allow them to change a thing about it, so there's really no benefit of it going to Criterion (or any other label) in the US over Umbrella just releasing it themselves.

Memento is with Samuel Goldwyn Films in the US. So, I doubt it will be coming out in the US from Umbrella.

I'm aware and that's why I assumed it would come from Criterion here, but the fact that Umbrella are credited while Samuel Goldwyn Films are not? That tells me either Umbrella picked it up from them in the US or worked out a deal.

They are only credited with the 4K transfer, I assume the lack of crediting anyone for the screening was an oversight. (Most of the titles in that article lack any credits/thanks for permission to screen.)
