Gymkata is with Warner Bros, so that isn't going to be one of them.
Couldn't remember who released the old DVD, and it was Warner.

I highly doubt it would be Gymkata, since outside a couple films, Robert Clouse isn’t truly held in genre iconography and we just had a VSU which is definitely what Gymkata would become given it’s status. Honestly in my belief, could be a Ken Russell film, he was one of the most famous cinematic mentals of all time and the fact this is being held off could indicate a major release, years in the making could also be for the X Rated cut of The Devils considering Warner’s holding off a release, though it’s also likely it could be Salome’s Last Dance, Lisztomania, The Rainbow or less likely Savage Messiah. Just thoughts but I truly hope they’re accurate ones.
P.S. Crimes of Passion or Mahler would have been here but are not included for different reasons.
Never thought I'd see a Greenaway with Severin (
Drowning By Numbers), whom I'd file in close company to Ken Russell, at least in terms of label interest/niche market drive (i.e. I am still buying their old OOP DVDs, today, easily). But I can't recall any "neck snapping" in any of the few Russell films I've seen (I can only guess!). And then with
The Devils we're back with Warners! These asinine VS clues are always inevitably written in the worst of ways, but I suppose that's what keeps those slips slippin slippin slippin'.

As much as I’d like to own the Showgirls release, I’m still not 4K-equipped and don’t think I can bring myself to buy it for a fourth (or fifth) time. (Can’t remember if I had the laserdisc.)
FWIW the release will include a Blu-ray and
Furthermore, we’ve performed extensive exclusive restoration using the source files from Paul Verhoeven’s supervised color grade to ensure a presentation which looks exactly as intended, but without any of the digital manipulation which has notoriously plagued other releases.
Also, if you're patient, there's a small subculture of VS (& other boutique labels) buyers who always dump their unwatched blu-rays on eBay and keep the 4ks. Unfortunately, most are quite obviously psychopaths who try to sell those blus for $30, but persistence will usually prevail in your favor.
