The lack of box sets this year has been a little odd and I don't know if it is because doing UHDs has eaten up so much time/resources.

I would assume that the exclusivity is a limited time frame, then Universal will make Arrow share the master with the licensees in other territories.

When was the last time we got multiple classic Hollywood titles in one month? Love Affair and Written On The Wind, I think, and the latter was a long-delayed upgrade. If we’re getting Casablanca as this year’s Kane-sized major Laserdisc reacquisition for 4K then I doubt we’re getting anything else. However I’ll ignore my feelings and hope for any combination of:

Unfortunately, George Feltonstein pretty much confirmed Casablanca coming from WB by saying a big title was leaked early by getting announced in the European market

I think folks are assuming Criterion is doing that one because that's how Citizen Kane was released: UHD from WB directly outside of the US, UHD from Criterion in the US.
