Peeping Tom is with Lionsgate, so unless there's been something solid to the contrary I wouldn't assume it's in the pipeline. But of the actual P&P collaborations there are certainly enough that Criterion either already has or don't seem to be spoken for in the U.S.

Why stop here? If they really want to launch their UHD line with a bang, they should release this alongside Festen. Maybe get Unknown Pleasures out there as well.

My predictions are a result of lazy wishful thinking this month...

I had predicted that Isle of Dogs would be their first 4K. Forget that. I'm swinging for the fences:

An upgrade of a sci-fi, supernatural, or horror film, like Onibaba or The Devil and Daniel Webster
A title new to Criterion but also in the sci-fi, supernatural, or horror genre; I won’t pick because I’m hopeless with titles in those genres
The Sea Hawk (When was the last Warner’s Golden Age title with one of their big stars? I think it was Bette Davis in Now, Voyager two years ago. Feels like something’s due, and Flynn is not yet in the collection.)
Nine Queens

Given that Warner Archive just released The Sea Hawk on Blu in December 2018, I’d be surprised.

OTOH, given that I just finally acquired an inexpensive used DVD of the otherwise-unavailable and fabulously expensive Nine Queens, I wouldn’t be surprised at all.

It seems like several of these have been rumored to be getting upgraded, so why not do them all at once?
Would they throw Thief of Bagdad and Peeping Tom into a P&P boxset? That seems clumsy to me. That said, either way I'd buy it just for all the upgrades.

Atlanics fits into the supernatural genre. It’s been confirmed as coming and it’s new to Criterion. So here you go

I agree, especially in the case Thief of Bagdad, but it doesn't seem impossible, so it seemed worth mentioning. I could see them doing non-chronological sequencing, like the Bergman and Varda sets, in order to tell the story of their collaboration by theme or subject (war films, musicals), and have a section of "Powell without Pressburger" or something like that.

My monthly PANDORA'S BOX wish goes right here.

UHDs of CITIZEN KANE etc. would be nice, but I suspect they'd be released in November, which as I recall is usually their month for Big Releases.
