Damn, I was off in guesses. This game's hard. Figured Pan's Labyrinth would be today at least because of Del Toro's Tweet.

I was somewhat confused by his tweet. I expected it to come in October, given his specific mention of the film's anniversary, and given that the date of its Spanish release, October 11th, is a Tuesday this year. But then, like you said, he indicated that the news would be coming soon.

Maybe del Toro himself was mixed up about when the Criterion release would be revealed, or maybe he just got a little too anxious and unintentionally suggested the information would be coming sooner than it is.
