Probably no announcement today as Streetwise is released today and Criterion wants to promote that on their front page. I don't think they've ever announced new titles on a Tuesday when a new title is being dropped.

I think they're just posting now. I'm seeing The Damned, Love & Basketball, Throw Down and Mona Lisa (upgrade)

December 15th, 2020 was the most recent time the 15th fell on a Tuesday. Amores perros was released and the March announcements happened....

It's confirmed to be coming, I think, and Criterion traditionally releases their Lynch title in Quarter 4 for whatever that's worth.

Well, aside from Blue Velvet, Lynch's films have been released in Sept/Oct around Halloween- so it makes sense for people to guess a horror title, Lynch has a relationship with Criterion, there haven't been any horror movies teased recently to my knowledge... and it's not yet out on blu-ray. I imagine Lynch would be more than happy with Criterion releasing it in the format, so if not this year then maybe we'll all be guessing next June/July

My guess is a Powell and Pressburger boxset, given they still have Thief of Bagdad, 49th Parallel, A Canterbury Tale, I Know Where I’m Going, The Small Back Room, Tales of Hoffman, and Peeping Tom to upgrade, plus whatever else they can get their hands on. It seems like several of these have been rumored to be getting upgraded, so why not do them all at once?
