It was in Austin Powers, so I don’t think it ever really disappeared with the rest of the “alternative” rock radio format. God, they’re still using the spooky remix concept on these trailers, how original.

Snyder really needs to work with Larry Fong again as his DP. This recent extreme shallow focus obsession is amateur hour.

While I agree that extreme “bokeh” photography is the stuff of YouTube amateur photographers, I can’t help but always think of a post on here where Domino defends Zack Snyder as being an incredible visualist and that he would’ve been an incredible silent-era filmmaker. I’m not even a Synder enthusiast, but I’m certainly intrigued.

This was actually made in 2023 and Warner tried to write this off for tax purposes, but they eventually sold it off. It's a very fun movie, but tackles some pretty complex themes, and delivers quite an emotional knockout blow
when the Road Runner and Wile E Coyote realise how much they need and depend on each other.

Looks promising, too bad I can't say the same for Alex Gibney's
Musk teaser.
The 2 movies could make an interesting double bill though.

apparently she goes to jail around the halfway point, and Fielder brings in Amanda Seyfried, who played her in The Dropout, to read transcripts of her convos with Fielder from jail and her performance seems realer than the real Holmes

Can a dramatic series on the Luddites be next?
Would 100% watch that. I'd gather many/most of the folks here know this, but the Luddites were skilled 19th-century artisans who destroyed machinery not because they feared technology, but as a targeted labor protest against factory owners who were using new automation. In short: RELEVANT.
