I'm probably way off but I'm gonna guess it's Bonnie and Clyde.
I haven't heard anything about that one actually, but my guess is that one is with Criterion.
Fingers crossed it's The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (alternatively Peckinpah's The Getaway)

I think it was a joke in response to this post:

You’ll be eating those words when it turns out to be a sublabel dedicated to Michel Deville

The new sub-label is likely connected to drive-in movies. That works for me.

😿 My bad for not catching the gag, but in my defense one of Deville’s films dealing with sexual content (of which there are a few to choose from) doesn’t sound too far out of the wheelhouse for these guys!

It's almost guaranteed this one is with Arrow in light of BULLITT.

So, Bound for Glory (1976) is that kind of road movie. It seems Tony Stella created this artwork before he passed away.
Is there a scene from BOUND FOR GLORY with a house either covered in or set around flowers? Justin may have said no WB titles but it's also possible he didn't earnestly mean it.

And he also has BOUND FOR GLORY in his Letterboxd watchlist rather than marked watched, so odds are he hasn't even seen it as of writing.

I wouldn't put it past VinSyn/CIN to do one of those rug pulls—most of us expected the Altman title this year to be BREWSTER MCCLOUD when it was actually 5 & DIME—but all the evidence so far points to SCARECROW. And SCARECROW totally fits the whole, "we drop some of our biggest titles of the year on Black Friday" motto.

No, Bound for Glory has no such scene. It’s also MGM/Amazon, not WB

I'm aware of it being MGM/Amazon and assumed as such regarding there being no such scene.

IDK, I really do think it is SCARECROW. Label executives are known to deliberately say false things to mislead people. I believe someone posted in r/Criterion that a rep told them there were no current plans of a 4K or Blu-Ray release of I KNOW WHERE I'M GOING shortly before Criterion officially announced the release.

Even VinSyn do this, as evidenced by LOOKING FOR MR. GOODBAR.

The only labels who are sort of upfront from what I've seen are smaller ones like Radiance, 88 Films, and Eureka as the awareness and transparency helps them so people might wait to buy their releases instead of buying whatever is currently available.

Flash pre-orders are up for the Black Friday sale and the 4 announced releases are
Manhunter (including the theatrical cut) UHD
Vampire in Brooklyn UHD
Beavis and Butthead do America UHD
Sato Vol. 6 - Muscle/Temptation of the Mask/Bondage Ecstasy

and the two mystery pre-orders
First, one of the most unsettling true crime thrillers of the past 50 years, acclaimed for its startling performances and unflinching examination of obsession and madness, finally hits 4K UHD, featuring a stunning new restoration from its original camera negative.

And, continuing our fine tradition of horror box sets, we’ve prepared another terrifying trio of fiendish fright flicks, all newly restored by VS and making their Blu-ray debuts. Three films, one box, and more than enough cinematic nightmares to go around!

This mystery package includes 2 releases:

1x Secret Surprise True Crime Thriller - UHD/BD
1x Secret Surprise Horror Box Set - 3x BD
and from the everything pre-order, hints for the VSA/VSL/Cinematographe
Plus, from VSA, the Blu-ray debut of one of the most intense, disturbing, and brutally violent films we’ve ever brought to the line, from a director whose body of work is renowned for pushing boundaries.

From Cinématographe comes a gritty, grimy, and unflinching New York classic, newly restored by VS for its 4K UHD debut.

From VSL, a murderous British rarity at last making its Blu-ray debut, newly restored by VS.

From Reviver, a truly wild and unpredictable genre-blending counterculture relic rescued from a crumbling warehouse, which hasn't seen the light of a projector in 50 years and might never have even been shown to the public!

And finally, if you miss the "good old days" way back when VS first started, we've resurrected one of our favorite lines, the first new release from which will no doubt bring back fond memories.
Looking at the Manhunter specs, and it appears that Mann's "Final Cut" isn't included. Odd.

No Manhunter Final Cut is a weird omission. Whosever decision that was, I feel like they’re really shooting themselves in the foot with that one.

The Manhunter specs make it seem strongly like not including the new cut is a conscious stand against Mann’s visual revisionism.

Highly recommend In the Dark from Saturn’s Core as one of the partner label titles this month which is a nightmarish, bleak little piece of indie cinema that’s heightened by its SOV aesthetic

domino harvey wrote: Thu Nov 24, 2016 4:24 pm La dénonciation (Jean-Doniol Valcroze 1962) Cahiers co-founder Valcroze isn’t mentioned much when people talk about the New Wave, and based on the two films I’ve seen, it’s probably in part due to him not being much of a director! The film seems a response to the famous Positif attack on the (perceived) refusal of the Nouvelle Vague films to tackle “serious” subjects, but this story of a guilt-riddled WWII collaborator who refuses to name names again when he stumbles upon a murder is too obvious and tries too hard to be Serious. While better than L'Eau a la bouche, this still isn’t very good, with long awkward pauses and no sense of rhythm or style other than lack thereof. And this brand of ending, while typical of many New Wave films, has never felt more false or phony— at least unironically so!
(I’ve seen three now and my point still stands, though the comedy he made after this one is actually a good movie. Maybe it’ll come soon too from this label)

This is a world premiere English friendly release for this, I believe. Been wanting to revisit this so I picked it and Pere Noel up. No free shipping yet again even with a third title I jettisoned, I guess I just am not supposed to understand that “offer”

A part of me is hoping the Reviver title is Coonskin.
