I suspect Criterion will also try to revist
some WB titles released during their laserdiscs days that are still available:

King Kong
The Adventures of Robin Hood
Adam’s Rib
Bad Day at Black Rock

It will be great if Criterion release King King and Bad Day on 4K. However I think Warner Archive is going to release Robin Wood on 4K.

I’d be more than happy to upgrade all of the other Val Lewton horror films if Criterion were to release them in 4K. That said, does The Leopard Man "desperately" need a new restoration? The 2019 Shout! Factory Blu-ray used a "4K Scan Of The Original Nitrate Camera Negative" and looked fantastic.

I didn't even realize they released it, even though I have their Body Snatcher BD!

I would spring for a special edition of Blade Runner and Criterion did release it on laserdisc, so it’s not out of the question. However at this point I’d rather see Arrow do it as all the special features are what would make make such a release worthwhile & I don’t see Criterion devoting as much resources to extras as Arrow would. My dream Blade Runner release would include a bonus blu-ray with all the different soundtracks (in 24 bit audio) and all the photos (including of unused sets/scenes) from the production and promotion along with the film magazine materials that came out at the time. I remember there was a lot as I spent a fair amount of time in bookstores reading through them before it came out. & I haven’t seen any of that material since, would love to revisit.

I imagine Criterion would probably release Goodfellas in a Scorsese box and maybe the individual title afterwards, but I think Criterion would release Taxi Driver and King Of Comedy before Goodfellas.
