That's my guess - especially if it's just flimsy cardboard over the three standard ones, guessing the anger will relax itself naturally. But if it's a gorgeous outer box like Conan with all the extra content from the LEs? I'll admit... even I'll be a little annoyed.

I'm pretty sure, besides the books, the only thing exclusive to the LE was the BD disc of SAD HILL UNEARTHED on GBU. So, its probably a collection of the standard releases, in something like the Mexico Trilogy box.
So, with Nightbreed and Mona Lisa coming on Friday, is that all of the leftovers from 2025 accounted for, other than To Live And Die in L.A., or am I missing another title?
Edit: Rawhead Rex.
In The Mouth of Madness might get the standard edition in May as the LE is showing as sold out.
And posters! Ok, this is a bit annoying, especially considering this is sure to be cheaper than the cost of the individual LEs. At least I actually watched them already.
Great news for everyone who missed out on the LE’s (or one of them like me!). If folks OCDs require them to now purchase this set then I guess they could get some good money selling their LE discs on eBay first?
Silly that they're playing these games with what has got to be one of the most popular series of all time and very heavily published on various formats. Considering the 4K Arrows are currently considered the definitive 4K renderings of the films, overall perhaps it can be considered a win. If the early adopters feel bad, I just paid $130 for the Second Sight version of Berlin Alexanderplatz, so I've offset the cosmic balance for at least one of you.
As an owner of all 3 LE's (purchased for MSRP), I'm not upset that more people can purchase it in boxed set form. If it truly contains 100% of everything in the Original LEs (I'm still doubting this), I'd be slightly miffed if the Boxed LE set is cheaper, because I may have preferred that instead. I still think its just going to be a gift-box of the Standard releases, though.

Ooh, I’d trade my LEs of these films for the Second Sight BA any day! Where’d you get it—eBay?

It seems exceedingly hard to find, but an oddball distributer in Wisconsin had 2 in stock NIB. Turns out the one I bought (in new, but scuffed condition) has gone missing, and I had to pony up for the minty one, costing me an additional $15. Sometimes you're the pigeon and sometimes you're the statue. I'd be happy to share the link, but apparently I've depleted their only remaining stock. World on a Wire (unlimited edition) is still available via Second Sight! For those curious these are distinctive due to the fact that they retain their original 25fps running time, unlike the Criterions of the same.
Thanks, just got one off ebay for $130 with shipping. I needed that push to get it. I'd love to find the LE World on a Wire, but I guess that's totally out of reach.

Set up an eBay alert to be notified when a copy becomes available. It looks like a couple copies have sold over the last few months in the $30-$40 range. Or if you can't wait and don't mind spending a lot, someone currently has a copy listed for $200 or best offer
