Couldn't agree more. Lotta whiners on Twitter and elsewhere. It's perfectly fine and fits the tone of the film, which is clearly going for that
Royal Tenenbaums warm honey/acid mix. Wasn't my favorite thing last year by a considerable margin, but were I a bigger fan of it, would have no issue picking this up based upon the cover.
BTW, not sure if mentioned above, but it's confirmed to be a digipack. The 'rule of
Mishima' (add this to our bylaws please) states that these often end up being a lot more interesting in person than they are upon initial announcement.
