It’s been 15 years since our last Musicals List Project. Would you participate in a redux later this year?

I don’t know how much my ranking will change from the previous list, but I might have a couple new entries. I’ll get the vampire list cooking this week.

Thank Your Lucky Stars has been my biggest discovery in the interim decade and a half, highly recommend but based on Letterboxd reviews it might be me versus the world on this one (Warner Archives put it out on Blu)

Unless I missed it when building the Letterboxd lists, Has Anybody Seen My Gal? wasn’t even an orphan last time. Can’t imagine that being the case now.

…yeah, ok, I’ll see if I can get in a groove and participate.

Count me in, I remember loving getting into the genre last time and have been looking forward to a redux.

Given the vote count, I assume this is happening? If so, is there an opinion or consensus as to when or for how long?

Yeah, I’ll leave poll up for a bit but it’s going to happen. Will be six months or so, starting in May or June of this year

Amazing! Looking forward to it.

Since (EVENT REDACTED) on (WEBSITE REDACTED) is happening soon, if anyone has any recommendations for musicals they very much like that do not otherwise have English-friendly distribution, please let me know. I would love nothing more to hear an out-of-left-field rec for something great and hard to find

Also, I am considering accepting ballots on a sliding scale of 25-50 titles instead of a straight 50. Would this encourage more folks to submit lists?

Pretty convincing response, closing this thread. Feel free to pregame in the existing list project thread until details are finalized
