I’m generally a Michael Ritchie defender, but is there TRULY a demand for that film in 4K? It’s a disaster with a few unintentional comedic moments

Haunted has been on the WSL since its first incarnation several years ago, IIRC. It has got to have one of the worst ratio of copies sold to copies printed in Kino history.

Kino Lorber is putting out a double feature of two films starring Jack Benny including Artists and Models and Man About Town.
I'm curious about the first film as it co-stars Ida Lupino and is directed by Raoul Walsh. Benny's career in movies wasn't particularly notable
(apart from To Be or Not to Be and George Washington Slept Here... though he turned the failure of The Horn Blows at Midnight
into a long running gag), but heck, I love his radio show so I'll buy this anyway.

Postscript... no one has ever definitively figured out if Benny had a cameo in Casablanca or not.

I'm curious about the first film as it co-stars Ida Lupino and is directed by Raoul Walsh.

It also has a musical number directed by Minnelli, but unfortunately, none of it is very good. The film may still have some entertainment value if you have a taste for these revue-style films, though.

Frank then talks on Paul Thomas Anderson - Alicia asks if he’s seen One Battle After Another, and he says no, but he’s very interested in it and wants to see it. He’s not been really into PTA’s latest films, he had no interest in seeing “that one where Daniel Day-Lewis plays a designer” (Phantom Thread - Alicia says she thought this was good), he saw Inherent Vice but thought it was too weird despite some good moments, and it disappointed him. Josh Brolin was very good, Joaquin Phoenix is always great (Frank says he thinks he’s one of the best actors in the world), but it still wasn't one he really liked. The last film he really liked from Anderson was There Will Be Blood, he liked Boogie Nights, didn’t like Magnolia. Frank says he’s hit or miss with how much he likes PTA’s films, compared to say his liking of Tarantino & the Coen Brothers.
