How would you rate the transfers on this Burn/Queimada Imprint box set? I can’t find any reviews on this release.

I’m not an expert but found it comparable in quality to Blu-ray transfers I’ve seen of Italian films of similar vintage from Severin and KLSC— not spectacular, at any rate, but nothing that distracted my viewing. The color seemed somewhat muted, but I don’t have anything to compare it against. The box says the transfers of both versions were provided by MGM

Back in the day, this was a Criterion laserdisc. I wonder if Criterion is eventually going to get around to this?

This was part of the “secret list” of MGM titles Criterion licensed back when House of Games came out almost twenty years ago. Kino claimed a couple years ago that Criterion still have the rights, so maybe? I got lucky finding my Imprint version cheap on eBay, but it has far more supplements on it than you’d find on a Criterion disc these days, so I’d say it’s worth it for any fans
