Just curious (I didn't participate last time), was this an inventory issue or was it due to pre-orders that didn't come out yet?

Pre-orders--the order was delayed because of February releases being pushed back by a month

genuinely good prices, though Universal Noir #2 went on back order immediately. I may take a punt on a Rollin title, guessing Fascination would be a good one for that?

for anyone interested here are the terms:
READ READ READ READ READ READ READ READ
The sale starts at NOON EST 8.22.24

HOW IT WORKS - We do not have enough product in stock. The movies will shipped to us after the sale ends. Since this is coming from both the US and UK this process might take a couple of weeks, BUT once the movies arrive we will fulfill your orders in a day or two.

The discount will be subtracted at checkout.

If you add anything else that is not part of the sale it will ship together.

You cannot combine pre-orders with sale items.

You cannot cancel or edit your order.

This sale DOES stack with our 3FREE free shipping for media mail.

We have been assured that no titles are in danger of going out of print, but in the unlikely event where that happens, we will fulfill orders from first ordered to last.
they've done this before with Powerhouse and I remember they got a shipment in not too long after, in case anyone is questioning the backorder

Fascination is the only Rollin I've liked, but I liked it a lot. So yeah, that'd be my rec

does anyone recall (or can check in their email) how much the 4K UHDs go for during an Indicator sale? trying to budget for the (presumed) upcoming sale, I have an impressive list of titles I wanna get and will probably pass the shipping threshold, but wanna make sure I know just how much to prepare for

The Rollin UHDs I ordered during the last sale were priced at £14.16 (excl. VAT).

Can anyone remind me what the cutoff again is for sale titles? 6 months since release? Which Rollin titles does that take us up to?

I have absolutely no idea about future sale dates, but the traditional cutoff has indeed been six months.

So if there's one in November (but I can't stress enough that I'm firmly outside the relevant loop), then the most recent Rollin titles bar the two being authored right now should just slip in under the wire, along with the other six.

The later the sale the better for me, as I’d like a deal on the Whistler box (released in May).

Sale is on.

I won't be logged back on until the afternoon, but if anyone wants to do a U.S. group buy, I'd be up for it. (I might get something like $70 worth of discs.)

I'm pretty late but I put in a massive, shipping threshold breaking order and naturally I forgot the Robin Hood at Hammer set, if anyone is doing a group buy in the US I'd love to be added for that. not a big deal if not

Sorry, I ended up placing an order on my own after crunching the numbers. With a promotional cashback deal on my credit card factored in, I figured I'd be saving maybe $8 or $9 if I did a group buy on what was roughly a $100 order.

Finally got around to placing an order and bought my first ever UHD Blu-rays: five Rollins and the Italian two.

Ford watch:

A year on, the winner of the 2020 Criterion Forum non-Criterion Awards in the Best Boxset category (tied with Survivor Ballads: Three Films by Shohei Imamura (Arrow Academy)) is still not sold out or even 'low stock' (neither is the Mae West box).

The Hammer pirates are long gone and Robin Hood at Hammer is now 'low stock', so add that to stuff people like better than Ford (and West).

Did they lower shipping prices to North America? I was surprised that my order of ten blu-rays was $19 which I never recall being that low the last few times I ordered from them. Does it matter that I didn't order any box sets this round?

I’m pretty sure they did indeed lower shipping prices to the US recently

Also a note that, while shipping is usually slow during Indicator sales owing to volume of orders (and they advise of that on the website), on this occasion I had my goodies within the week.

The 3 for £20 option for older (>6 months) standard editions is no longer available on the website.

Are they just preparing the coming sale?
