Not sure if we already knew it was coming, but Justin Bozung confirmed in the Frank Perry thread that he recorded a commentary on Carnal Knowledge for Indicator

It was hinted at over 2 years ago. He also confirms that it's going to be released on 4K.

I was browsing Orbit pre-orders and there was a listing for Ken Loach's Family Life as the third US title.

Weren’t the titles supposed to be initially announced today if memory serves correct?

They had to invite the entire staff to a secluded estate so as to uncover the culprit who leaked Left Right and Centre to Blu-ray.com on Saturday, so there may be a delay

Michael, will there be an execution of the culprit or shall they be simply imprisoned for their crimes?

Looks like the clue posted in the newsletter is for Don Siegel's Edge of Eternity (1959). Possibly a part of a future Columbia Noir set?

I think it was said there would be no further Columbia Noir sets, but I could be wrong.

Great news nevertheless, as this was one I'd been hoping to see from Indicator since they launched!

Maybe they’d do an Action/Adventure box like Imprint has been doing, or maybe even a box of Cornel Wilde movies. I recently watched another Cornel Wilde film from around when this came out, Beyond Mombasa, and I thought it was a completely slept on gem of Saturday matinee fun with a wildly ahead of its time finale, and I could absolutely see Indicator releasing it since it’s Sony and Christopher Lee is in it

Re: Indicator´s interest in overlooked British films -- might "In Search of Gregory" (1969) be of interest? Julie Christie, John Hurt, the only film made by theatre director Peter Wood. Co-produced by Universal, Joseph Janni/Vic Films, and Vera Films (Wages of Fear, Investigation of a Citizen Above Suspicion).

Unless there's an already extant HD master, I'm afraid things like this are a non-starter.

The problem with major studio licenses is that they generally don't permit third-party access to their 35mm pre-print elements, which means that it's a case of waiting for them to get round to creating HD upgrades themselves. Independents, by contrast, are generally only too happy to let someone else take on the logistical/financial burden!

Canyon Passage comes to mind for me as well, but the settlement in the film is a lot more mountainous, right?

That's a Fox title in all territories, so unlikely

It’s one of the most beautiful colour films but this low quality black and white set shot isn’t necessarily a frame grab from their Blu.

Hey I don’t mind if it’s not Canyon Passage to be fair as it has a nice Blu already!

For the record, the film is in colour...

...but it isn't Canyon Passage.

Silver Lode would be nice but it's probably not that.

The newsletter clue was identified on the other forum to be for Peter Ibbetson.
