Ok, it seems like only a small number will have been affected by this

Mine also arrived today and appears to be correct (judging from the disc face itself, haven’t had a chance to play it yet). Bought the blu-ray during the Black Friday sale.

Got mine from Cinema Guild today too. The disc has the correct printing on it, but when I put it in the player it had Road House on the disc. Womp womp.

Hopefully it was at least the Vinegar Syndrome disc of it.

It is the Vinegar Syndrome disc (confirmed by @p_norbs on Twitter).

I’m very sorry this happened to Cinema Guild as it’s got to be a huge headache. But I hope someday they can all laugh about it as the funniest disc manufacturing error of all time.

I'm with you. I'm pretty sure they are a skeleton crew and didn't need this going into the new year. Like you said though, hopefully someday they'll find it as funny as I did when the menu popped up.

So, what you're saying is.

Cinema Guild is going to be the next VS Partner Label?

Yes actually there has been an announcement on Cinema Guild's newsletter reading:
Newsletter wrote: We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Vinegar Syndrome's partner label company, OCN Distribution. As some of you may have noticed, the discs you were supposed to get for 35 Shots of Rum were "accidentally" sent out as discs for Roadhouse for which we've apologized. However this was actually a little way of subtly hinting at this new partnership which we hope will lead to bigger things for us. Our intention will be to provide the opportunity to allow some of the titles we think deserve some more love be brought into a more wider scale alongside also releasing some excellent titles we haven't gotten to yet. We plan to re-release our first title in January starting off with a historical drama featuring one of French Cinema's leading actors in a tour de force performance.
Nah I'm just kidding, obviously, but considering that Vinegar Syndrome has gotten Umbrella Entertainment and even IFC Films, it wouldn't be all that surprising if I'm being honest.

One quick question: if we pre-ordered from Cinema Guild and received the incorrect disc, will we need to do anything or will replacements be automatically sent? (FWIW, I also received the incorrect disc.)

Amazon sent an email saying that the disc will be delivered on the 8th of January.
Should we expect this to be the correct disc?
If not, how do we get it replaced?

We have asked Amazon to return the stock for replacement but they said it could be a few weeks to happen.

If you do end up with the wrong disc we will announce a way to get the new disc next week.

The newly-released Blu-Ray of Hong's Walk Up looks quite good (on my old plasma TV) -- and it has an interesting little extra -- a short video about the building at the center of the film, created by the building's owner.

What does "incorrect disc" mean?
Is it just a wrong disc or is it one with some specific problems?
I got one from Amazon on the 4th of January that seems to be the right one, but am not sure if I should be checking out some details.
Thank you.
