May titles have been leaked:

The Haunting (1999) 4K UHD
Brotherhood of the Wolf (2010) 4K UHD Collector's Edition
Conquest Of Space / I Married A Monster From Outer Space
The Morning After (1986)
Skyline (2010) 4K UHD
Tiger Cage Trilogy
Highwaymen (2004)

The Haunting was released 2 years ago under the Paramount Presents line, so I guess that most of the titles released under that line is up for grabs.

I really wish Shout had stayed away from the Hong Kong films, especially after hearing that the subtitles for their Iron Monkey Blu-ray are based on the Mandarin dub (which is the audio track the disc incorrectly defaults to), so they are out of sync with the Cantonese track (which is the original language of the film.) An unfathomably lazy company.

Skyline is memorable to me because it features the condo building my mother resided in for years being obliterated

Another Shout site exclusive (limited to 1500) is up for pre-order: Demon of Paradise

It occurred to me that any label worth its salt would have released all these Corman titles in an Ingmar Bergman's Cinema type collection instead of dribbling them out in this limited edition site exclusive shit.

June titles:

Shaw Brothers Collection Volume 1 (11 Film set)
Private Parts (1972)
The Strangler (1964)
Motel Hell 4K UHD

EDIT: I'm hoping against all odds that the Shaw set includes The House of 72 Tenants.

Here are the films in the Shaw set:
The Assassin
The Thundering Sword
The Golden Swallow
The Jade Raksha
The Bells of Death
The Sword of Swords
Killer Dart
The Invincible Fist
Dragon Swamp
The Flying Dagger
The Golden Sword

They also have a site exclusive limited edition of Creepshow 3. We'll see how effective FOMO is in moving this piece of shit.

Unless Shout specify if these or at least some of them are new scans, their asking price of $140 is a little steep. If the materials are in line with, say, 88's Killer Constable BD though, I'm in at a lower price, and I don't think they've confirmed yet whether there's any extra materials.

It's legit terrible, the kind of film that I'm sure even the people who buy EVERY Vinegar Syndrome and Severin and Arrow release would scoff at. 1500 print run seems too high.

If it had extras that explained why it exists it might have been worth it.

A Blu-ray.com user posted the following about the subtitles on The Brave Archer set
Just a random thing of note. Subtitles are a mixed bag. I think they’re mostly dubtitles but they seem like they are maybe auto generated by software. Either that or the person creating them isn’t paying very good attention because some of the words are mixed with words that sound like the word they’re supposed to be. In addition there seem to be a lot of inconsistencies. Characters names are spelled differently between (at least the first 3 movies) and I suspect it’s partly because the dubs pronounce them differently. In any case it’s a bit sloppy. Not a deal breaker but not very polished just the same
So, another release of foreign language films with shitty subtitles. Great going Shout.

Given their horrible track record with HK titles, I'd assume their upcoming Shaw Brothers collection will be much the same.

Most likely they will be, as they have to know about these issues, but clearly don't care enough to hire someone to properly translate these films.

However, it is worth noting that this isn't limited to the Hong Kong titles. The subtitles for the French dialogue in Femme Fatale is mistranslated, so a line at the end that should be "She never switched the bra..." is translated as "She never switched the bracelet..." and the notoriously awful subs on The Brotherhood of the Wolf.

Duketogo84 watched the Archer films with the Mandarin track and confirmed that those tracks come with subtitles instead of dubtitles. So that makes me feel more comfortable about the forthcoming Shaw set again.
