Lauren Tamaki's name has now been removed from Summertime's page as the credited artist for the new Blu cover. I'm now wondering if this is related to the hold-up for July's announcements.

Why don't they just make the announcements with a "cover art coming soon"--I think they've done it before.

Wow--if the Summertime cover was the holdup, I gladly would've waited longer. That is *terrible*.

Jean Eustache's Le Père Noël à les yeux bleus is screening at MoMA as part of their Forgotten Filmmakers of the French New Wave season and it's attributed 'courtesy of Janus Films'. So it looks like Janus/Criterion might be the US (+/- UK) distributor for the Eustache catalogue that has been acquired and restored by Les Films du Losange.

Janus are also credited for Robert Enrico's An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge.

Excellent news, and even without the whole catalog, that's one of his best films. However, I desperately want to see a release of Une sale histoire, my favorite short(er) Eustache, and I'd trust a company like KL to get it out into the world much faster than Criterion (if they'd want to release it at all), unless it's part of a box

Good to know. If Criterion doesn’t do a box set, I would imagine that they would include Le Pére Noël à les yeux bleus as a supplement with Le Maman et la Putain -- at least, it seems like an obvious pairing, if only because they both star Léaud.

I just received confirmation the rights for all of the Jean Eustache films are now with Criterion/Janus.

Obviously The Trial and the Eustaches are huge wins (and all-time favs for me) after such long waits, but The Adversary is easily the best Ray I've seen, and it'll be wonderful to see it in a decent transfer

the Duvivier would be a surprise if CC actually put that out. I can definitely see Daisies, as that would fit with Criterion's recent release schedule. the others are sure fire...Eustache is confirmed, CC exclusively handles Ray it seems, and The Trial would be a continuation of the Welles train

Some have better chances than others. I wouldn't say Duvivier has no chance but a small chance. Daisies is a no brainer. The Trial without a real confirmation still seems very likely. And CC has been pretty diligent trying to get out the Rays

Lost Highway starts its theatrical re-release in June, which means it is very likely that it will get a disc release in November.

At the screening for Inland Empire tonight, the 4k resto was confirmed as coming to Boston in July
