I imagine Bunuel's Gran Casino and The Young One are also part of the deal.

Kino Lorber Studio Classics Acquisitions
Is there a “While Supplies Last” page still active? Googling it brings up a dead link and I can’t find a way in through their site...

Re: Kino Lorber Studio Classics Acquisitions
Based on the decade breakdown and what Lionsgate previously released, it's one of these titles: Contempt, The Ladykillers, The Man Who Fell to Earth, Ran, or Delicatessen.FrauBlucher wrote: Wed Dec 16, 2020 7:45 pmCould the previously released bluray be one of the Lionsgate titles?
Since StudioCanal UK released a new 4K remastered The Ladykillers with both 1.66 and 1.33 transfers this is the most likely guess.

No problem! I kinda do it mostly to keep track for myself since their website is less obvious about something going OOP than, say, Criterion or Shout! Factory. Why should I be the only one befitting from the information when I'm gathering it anyway?

Hopefully La Ligne de démarcation and L'Œil du malin sell well so they finally give us that long-harnessed gold

Re: Kino Lorber Studio Classics Acquisitions
Well, it's not The Ladykillers. The KL Insider said it's not with them and still with Lionsgate. My guess now is that it's Delicatessencaptveg wrote: Thu Dec 17, 2020 9:45 pmBased on the decade breakdown and what Lionsgate previously released, it's one of these titles: Contempt, The Ladykillers, The Man Who Fell to Earth, Ran, or Delicatessen.FrauBlucher wrote: Wed Dec 16, 2020 7:45 pmCould the previously released bluray be one of the Lionsgate titles?

On that matter do people know which aspect ratio is preferred? The official restoration trailer seems to pick the 1.33 transfer. Then what's the point of the 1.66 ratio?captveg wrote: Thu Dec 17, 2020 9:45 pmSince StudioCanal UK released a new 4K remastered The Ladykillers with both 1.66 and 1.33 transfers this is the most likely guess.

I believe it’s one of those transition movies from the 50s where it was exhibited at the time in whatever the theater could manage and was not necessarily definitively meant for one or the other.

So, while they don't have The Ladykillers, they do have at least one Ealing Studio film. Perhaps they picked up Last Holiday?

We know two are Spaceballs and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, but hearing there are at least three more on tap is great news.

Can someone give a little PQ summation of The Ipcress File? I watched it on TCM. I really liked it. I may pick it up if the bluray is worth it.

Svet reviewed Kino's release of The Beguiled at blu-ray.com.
To answer your question: Yes, the phrase "toxic femininity" does appear in the review.

Re: Kino Lorber Studio Classics Acquisitions
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966) UHD revealed for a 4/27/21 release.
D1 of the set is the 4K UHD for the Extended Cut. D2 is a regular BD for the Theatrical Cut (presumably the same disc from the previous BD release). EDIT: D2 BD is newly authored to put more of the special features on the BD disc, but the encode of the Theatrical version of the film is likely the same.
