A former member here in the industry professionally edited a composite version, but unfortunately I lost the copy he sent me! Criterion releasing it would be a favor to the director, as it’s soooo different from the first that it’s honestly not a good fit for the label. I could see KL swooping in and picking it up already though, so maybe Criterion is working on something

It played on TCM with a Janus logo, so I had it on the list. The Scorsese shorts set has been bandied /rumored for ages. Maybe one day we'll get it!

Watch the blu-Ray come out in January. I held off for as long as I could on the BFI, to see what Criterion does with it, but there was a BFI sale on Amazon, so I finally broke down & it should arrive any day now.

Speaking of that British New Wave tour, of the titles Criterion hasn’t already released, The Servant & Darling are credited to Rialto, The Loneliness Of The Long Distance Runner & Seance On A Wet Afternoon & Look Back In Anger are Janus.

Also at PFA is the Kiarostami retrospective with everything (including shorts) credited to Janus or IFC except Five Dedicated To Ozu (MK2). Now that Koker trilogy has been released (which oddly is not in the retrospective), what’s the chance we’ll get a comprehensive box rather than titles being individually released/upgraded (over a long period)?

The Koker Trilogy was definitely in the BAMPFA Kiarostami retrospective. It’s just that all of the screenings of those three films have passed. I saw And Life Goes On there last month.
