Forget about 999, 1000, 1001!

I say #1002 will be for 2001: A Space Odyssey

I mean if we’re going hard on jokey spine numbers, The Mirror at 1001 is kinda perfect

The daunting task of deciding which release will be 1000 I’m sure is causing the consternation, hence the delay

The interns are distracted refreshing the waitlist for their PrimeDay sale-priced case of Sanpellegrino

so you're saying if the interns would just respect the minnesota picket line, we'd have announcements?

The only film we can now rule out for spine 1000 is Eisenstein’s Strike

Area 51... Spine No. 51 is Brazil... Area 51... area of 51 can only be 3x17, so Spine No. 3 and No. 17, the Lady Vanishes and Salo, or the 120 Days of Sodom... Spine 1000 is a Brazilian movie about a woman disappearing for four months confirmed △△△

I missed it too! Some of his guesses outside of Godzilla are so far left field that I don’t think he could pretend to not know what’s going on if they pan out

Well, we waited and waited… clutching our Czech pearls… but it’s almost 30 past 7 here in NYC. All interns are already home heating up mom’s lasagna leftovers from the party the day before and about to watch another Netflix installment of Winona Ryder screaming something about being a good mother.

Mañana!

Is a Haxan upgrade or Roma release really that far fetched?

But I had my heart set on complaining about the cover art of the entire slate of announcements (save one of them, which I'll grudgingly allow is not as bad as all the rest) today.

Haxan or the Devil and Daniel Webster would indeed be very far fetched. They are plausible in that they could be upgraded, and both would be releases I happily purchase, but no one is guessing them and there's no reason to think they're coming anytime soon, so him guessing these two of all possible choices is suspicious

Well maybe someone's still at work... I've got a change-watcher set on the page that I enable on the 15th, and "Available July 16, 2019" just disappeared from under Klute and The Baker's Wife.
