Does anyone own the 26 dvd Bunuel boxset found currently on ebay? Cost is $60 and it only has english subs on about 18 of the dvds. But it includes a 2 disc Discreet Charm. I wonder whats on the 2nd disc.

Does anyone have any experience with this or any of the shady Chinese imports fornd on ebay? Do they have accurate subs? Do they just bootleg Criterion prints? Special features? Etc?

Thanks y'all!

Well, I'd assume the second disc is the second disc from the Criterion edition. They're just bootlegs of retail discs with added Chinese subs. They may have missing special features and re-encoded, lower-quality video, depending on whether they're DVD-5s or DVD-9s.

Pathé has released La Fièvre Monte à El Pao (1959) on Blu-ray and English subtitles are promised.

Did anyone see or otherwise have an opinion on this edition of Land Without Bread (found on Amazon)?

https://www.amazon.com/Land-Without-Bre ... GM12BE&me=

Is there any other DVD edition advisable to buy?

Thanks!
