Docks of New York is not only my favorite Sternberg films, but one of my favorite American films (of any era). But it looks like it is being edged out not only by Last Command but also Safety Last.

(The lasts shall be first ... I guess).

I voted for Deadly Affair, because I think Housekeeping already got plenty of discussion here upon its release, and it’s been sitting quietly on my shelf since August, the two slightly interminable Jack Gold films on either side of it getting my attention sooner.

I voted for Deadly Affair too, though I didn't like it, since I watched my old unseen Sony UK DVD a few months ago to see if I wanted to pick up the Indicator and I was glad I did because nope! But it's fresh enough in my mind to discuss, which is rarely the case with these winning titles

I thought this round would be happening later...anyway, I've replaced Decision at Sundown with another randomly generated title: 10 Rillington Place.
