Arrow link to this short interview with Mitch Pileggi in their latest newsletter, which probably was part of a larger interview for Craven's Shocker.

Arrow Video have stated new announcements are coming Friday at regular hours.

This has been posted along with an image of Ennio Morricone, which seems like an obvious nod to The Thing, but maybe its a curve ball like the Jamie Lee Curtis pic was for A Fish Called Wanda?

It could be a very lame thinking, but Morricone's picture really made me wish for a box set for either the Leone anthology (4 films) or at least the Dollar Trilogy. Kino is releasing the new restorations soon in USA, and somebody needs to do it in UK, right? Who's better than Arrow?

I imagine a Halloween special LE box of the Thing is pretty much certain.

More exciting is the Academy tease, which is a picture of Guy de Maupassant. Masculin feminin?

I'm hoping for Le Plaisir, myself.

I wonder if this could be Stephane Brizé's 'Une Vie'. If so his back catalogue is well over-ripe for a UK release, particularly his work with Lindon.

The restoration of For a Few Dollars More won't be coming from Kino until 2018, so I'll be surprised if Arrow were to announce anything before then. Assuming they even get them.

The Morricone teaser could be a double clue for both The Thing and a 4K restoration of Argento's Cat o' Nine Tails, which we also know is coming.

While I'm pretty certain based on their recent Gaumont/Godard titles that this is more than likely for MASCULIN FEMININ, I can't stop hoping that this is for Buñuel's adaptation of Jeanne et Pierre, A WOMAN WITHOUT LOVE.

In a shocking twist, the Morricone could be the long requested Danger: Diabolik making it the most Bava-hyped year yet. \:D/

I still think it's The Thing but would be all over a Leone set like white on rice.

I reckon so too. Masculin Fémenin is likely still with StudioCanal - that said, and only to immediately contradict myself, why not include it in last year's Godard box set?

Ooh, that would be great! Still hoping they'll be able to get Planet of the Vampires one day...but this would be even better.

Noted muckraker Calum Waddell has spilled the fairly obvious beans that Arrow is releasing their own version of Heathers. C'mon Calum the internet already knows that one. Drop some real bombs if you are mad!

Me too. Maybe Banasa is trying to bluff Waddell into revealing more

Is it OK if we can refer to him as the the home video version of Mr. X?

Ahh. Heathers is part of a library of films that Arrow got rights too that included Heathers. I just assumed it was posted before.

Ahh. I think it was a connection between the New World pictures owned currently by RLJ Entertainment.

Looks like Arrow's Romero release will be three films: The Crazies, Season of the Witch, and, most likely, There's Always Vanilla

Question for Arrow re. Miracle Mile: Will you be using the director-preferred "fade to black" ending like the German Blu or the "diamond" ending as on the US release?

The "diamond ending" is only an extra on the US release.
