I'm kind of surprised Ronin and The Big Knife are coming out in the US but not Shock Treatment. I know MGM and Fox are not one in the same, but given the close ties the two companies share I find it odd that no Fox titles have shown up yet through Arrow US while a number of MGM ones have.

I'm wondering /hoping that the Grem is US only because Criterion have the rights to the other WW2 titles and UK gets the deluxe box set?

Are The Big Knife & L'amour d'une femme really just US releases ? Or have they just leaked on the US side of things ? There's no official announcement on FB, which are supposed to take place still on Monday so I guess they will actually be UK too.

Steve De Jarnatt just said on his Facebook that Arrow Video will be releasing Miracle Mile in the UK early next year. He is also doing a Q&A at a screening in London next month.

As it turns out, these are the only Academy US releases, but they are also being released in the UK. In addition, there are three UK-only releases (The Hunt, Tree of Wooden Clogs, Clash).

Mike Hewitt from Arrow mentions they'll be releasing "a couple of Romero films" in an interview with "Daily Grindhouse."
I’m just trying to think of there’s anything that we can give away that we haven’t revealed yet. There’s a couple of the Romero films are coming down the pipeline. That’s probably all I can say at the moment, but we’ve got some great, great stuff lined up...

IIRC, The Crazies and Season of the Witch are already known to be coming at some point from Arrow.

I forget, is this their whole U.K stock or just direct from Arrow?

Arrow US:

Frustratingly they don't list Bird with the Crystal Plumage, which is close to selling out in the UK and I have to imagine won't last long here.

Announcements this coming weekend, with the hints being images of Jamie Lee Curtis (for Video) and Anthony Quayle (for Academy).

I'm guessing Anthony Quayle is Legend of the Holy Drinker.

What's the upcoming Altman title? I'm pretty sure one was hinted at.

Would love Halloween with the original audio.
(the only way to get this is in the US box, and I don't want to get that)
I would be content with Forever Young too, or My Girl with the black crush issue of the US disc corrected.
Also, could A Fish called Wanda be a possibility? (coming from a new restoration of course)

As for the Anthony Quayle title, i would dream about Masada, or 21 Hours at Munich! :)

Wait, what do you mean? What's "the original audio"?

The most recent standalone reissue only included a stereo audio track.

the only version of the new restoration of Halloween with the original mono audio is in this box:
http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Halloween ... ay/104043/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

(or it's in the old Bluray which is unrestored)

The mono audio in this standalone version, is actually a downmix (as I have read) of the new mix.

I reckon it'll either be Thieves Like Us or A Wedding (or both).

I'd be happy to get the latter at all, which I watched on Netflix ages ago and enjoyed, and happy I procrastinated on the Kino US release for the former.

No one's said where exactly this Altman hint occurred though, yet...
