Nuts, mine already shipped at the $17.82 price point. Too bad, would have loved that Media Mail option.

Anyway, thanks as always for organizing and putting the blood, sweat and tears in.

I think that's just another system glitch. I show the current stock at:

Vol. 1 - 5
Vol. 2 - 38
Vol. 3 - 182

FYI postal rates went up on Monday, so some of these increased prices may be correct

Has anyone gotten a replacement cardboard insert? Mine for vol 1 got crushed in shipping, and I've been trying to get a replacement ever since.

That's a bonus, it's symbolic of the crushing economic and political factors that influenced the films

Is the transfer for Ashes and Diamonds the same as Arrow's release?

There's only one HD master as far as I'm aware.

I've just seen the question on Ashes and Diamonds. I'm asking the Polish archivists right now.

And the answer is, "I don't know." We are directly dealing with DI Factory. Arrow is dealing with the Polish studio. And I don't have Arrow's Blu-ray to compare. But I can say that there are a number of other Polish films that had at least a couple different masters done recently.

Anybody else have the answer?

I thought so too, but Milestone just answered on their Facebook page that it is a new transfer.

Edit: they retracted themselves, looks like it's the same transfer.

Thanks for the work on Losing Ground drdoros. What a funny, smart, and rare of personality film it is. The scenes with Duane Jones alone are worth the experience.

Thanks! We are very proud of the bonus features on the discs as well. The interviews of Ronald Gray, Seret Scott and Nina Collins show them to be amazing individuals. ALSO!!! we have put up a Kathleen Collins 2-hour masterclass up on Vimeo that is just astonishing! You can see it for free at https://vimeo.com/203379245

We also love Bill Gunn in the film. A very tough role to be that complicated and sometimes unpleasant. But honestly, Seret's our favorite. :-)

New trailer for Billy Woodberry's BLESS THEIR LITTLE HEARTS, opening with a 40th-anniversary celebration of KILLER OF SHEEP. The two films premiere at the IFC Center in NYC this May 17th! It's the first theatrical distribution of Woodberry's BLESS.

Can we assume that this means a Blu-ray of Killer of Sheep will be coming too?

The Polish boxes are back, only about 24 of the first two though.
