I tought I was crazy too! It took me a long time to see the differences in some of them. Some have reversed background (An Angel At My Table) others have text re-placed etc. I thought of adding explaining text to each image, but then I realized it would be much more fun to find the differences yourself. The CD-Label project is a good idea, but it would fast become the best source for pirates to get their labels and I'm not supporting that. I guess I could add a watermark stamp or something...!? Added 307 308 to the alternative section - thanks for the help!

You are right. I will remove it once I get back to my desk.CSM126 wrote:I was looking over the Alternate artwork gallery (great work, BTW), and I saw that for The Man Who Fell to Earth, the cover of the novel was included as a cover design. I kinda thought that the gallery was supposed to be rejected cover art only.
"Young Törless" has become high priority and will be next on my list...

Why not just use the images from the link in the last, I think, newsletter?hammock wrote:PS: I still could use some help completing the postcard section...!
Also, for the wallpapers, the menus might work better in some cases--it's often similar art work, if not the same image--and it's already composed to fit a computer screen. It'd be easier to edit and would look better in many cases. Just a thought. Anyway, I thought this would be too nerdy for me but I'm using the Videodrome background currently. Thank you for your work, sir.

I use actual scans of the front and back of the postcards and the link did not provide both as far as I remember.Doctor Sunshine wrote:Why not just use the images from the link in the last, I think, newsletter?hammock wrote:PS: I still could use some help completing the postcard section...!

The menu's would be nice to work with buit I don't know how to extract the images from it. I did try a lot of different things but always ended up with a black screen. If you know a program that could help me I would be very delighted and order it right away to make the process easier. Thanks for helping out!
Requests: Will look at them - promise!

Hey hammock, i don't know if its been suggested but in the Throne Of Blood booklet theres an image that spans two pages across. Directly in the center of the booklet, separated by staples is an image that would be perfect for wallpaper. I believe its a perfect size as well. The only thing it needs is just some clean up. Just a suggestion.

Thanks for the tip! I try to stick with the front cover but might expand in the future. Right now I'm having a hard time catching up with the first 330 releases so I guess it will take a long time before I get to do others.edgarnazaretian wrote:Hey hammock, i don't know if its been suggested but in the Throne Of Blood booklet theres an image that spans two pages across. Hammock, care to finish off the lubitsch wallpapers with Heaven Can Wait?
Cyberlink PowerDVD 6, or any version of powerDVD for that matter, lets you capture screens. press the 'C' key while the dvd is paused, playing, or whatever. and it captures it to the clipboard for pasting, or you can set it to store a bmp image in your 'my documents' folder. if you have a dvd-rom, its the standard program included with them, so I'd recommend getting out the discs that came with it, and see if any contain it. also, some companies customize powerdvd to their logo and look, it still works the same.
with that said hammock, I prefer the cover art, the scans are much higher resolution than you could ever get out of a dvd screengrab. keep up the good work. I think the disc art with watermarks would be a great idea as well.

Thanks for the nice words! Will be doing Heaven Can Wait on Monday. After that I will be doing Divorce Italian Style. I followed your advise and installed PowerDVD 6 - it works like a dream - thanks a lot. This gives me even more graphics to work with. I will continue working from the front cover scan but now I can include elements from the menus as well thanks to you.
