Re: Passages
Tho' he's more known for his spaghetti westerns, Valerii did direct and cowrite a superior giallo, My Dear Killer, a movie that works as a summary of the whole subgenre: it not only contains all the characteristic elements and themes laid on on the surface, but executes them with craft (eg.: you can actually tell what's going on). It makes a good template to work from. A movie I'd send anyone to if they were interested in knowing what the giallo is all about.MichaelB wrote:Tonino Valerii.

Woah, that's a shame. He made a big impact to me in a short time as I saw him in 24, The X-Files, and Se7en all around the same time in college (The X-Files & Se7en were older roles, but I was seeing them for the first time).flyonthewall2983 wrote:Michael Massee, was in Se7en, Lost Highway and The Crow.
But something in that article doesn't make sense. If he was 28 while making The Crow, he couldn't have been 61 now...

No fucking way...! I mean wow, this is just such a surprise. I loved him for Lost Highway alone, not to mention all the memorable roles and bit parts in other things (HBO's Carnivale, for one). Very shocked.flyonthewall2983 wrote:Michael Massee, was in Se7en, Lost Highway and The Crow.

Re: Passages
I wonder if Norman Lloyd is still a working actor? He appeared in Trainwreck last year and turns 102 seven days from now, and was older than Zeldin.Ashirg wrote:Russian actor Vladimir Zeldin. I talked about him in the Film Centenarians and Near-Centenarians thread...
