Those are chicken wings and this has been rumored for a long time. That's it all right. It's the first clue that I've gotten in months.

Angel at My Table?

Pun works better with Only Angels Have Wings, though. Sorry to add to the tradition of superfluous guesses.

I hate to be that guy, but doesn't Only Angels Have Wings have a perfectly nice Blu release already?

People on blu-ray.com say it went OOP. Anyway, it was a TCM vault exclusive, so the Criterion will cost similarly at discount pricing.

I hope they also have plans to eventually release His Girl Friday as well.

Wasn't there some sort of confirmation they were releasing His Girl Friday or did I dream that up, like Skittlebrau?

I missed this at TCM store and now it's going for over $100 on eBay and Amazon. Super excited to get a release from Criterion.

I'd like to think this is a double clue since the cherub on the left looks a lot like Warren Beatty in Heaven Can Wait.

Oh... well, then just give me a six-pack and a couple of bags of Skittles.

I had no idea that the TCM Blu was OOP. I hereby rescind my "that guy" comment.

I guess that's the deal Sony has with TCM. TCM gets the initial release and then it goes to somebody else when the deal expires. Maybe the same thing will happen with His Girl Friday.

It also reminds me of the chicken in Tom Jones, although I know that's for no good reason.

Surely. I might have also guessed Falstaff (which we also know to be forthcoming) but Flagstaff is further north.

I wish it was a double clue for an Arizona film - Raising Arizona or even Arizona Dream...

Petzold's Phoenix is certainly a surprise announcement for me -- was this ever rumored to have been picked up by Criterion?
