Anybody placed an international order with Cinema Guild before (it's to Canada, in my case)? I'd like to support them directly, but am wondering whether it's worth the hassle of placing an email/phone order...

Made an order from the last sale - it was definitely worth it, and no hassle at all. Shipped to Scandinavia quickly & well packaged. Will definitely be ordering today to catch up with recent releases.

If anyone's looking for recommendations - or, hell, if anyone simply hasn't seen 35 Shots of Rum, Aurora or Ghosts, I urge strongly to pick them up!

Our 2013 cyber sale is off and running!! Ends Monday. Let us know what you're picking up.

And yes, we ship all over the world. Send an email to [email protected] with the titles you'd like to buy and address, and we'll email you the shipping cost on Monday. Any other questions or concerns, just let us know.

Thanks everybody.

Hopefully you took note of this when I placed my order.

But just to be safe: Leviathan (film of the year, people!), Sweetgrass, the Sokurov set, Night Across the Street, Patience (After Sebald), and Our Beloved Month of August.

I hope you like the latter. It might be right up your alley. (Or it might be the worst film you've ever seen. Who knows?)

I picked it up thanks to your recommendation! Isn't it weird that even though we are usually oil and water we still follow each other's advice? Quick: Cue up "Ebony and Ivory"

I'd put odds on domino loving Order of Myths, not loving Leviathan.

The good thing about buying titles from these sales is that Cinema Guild never goes on sale otherwise, so the resale value on Amazon Marketplace makes anything a risk-free endeavor. But of course hopefully I love both

Domino, if you wind up hating Leviathan, try selling it here, you'll find someone who'll take it.

Picked up both Castaing-Taylor/SEL titles plus Night Across the Street as I had planned, and got curious enough to throw in The Order of Myths as well. Now to start hunting for a projector - there's no way in hell I'm watching Leviathan on anything smaller than myself!

100% satisfaction once again from Cinema Guild: got a shipping confirmation on Wednesday last week and the box arrived (to Europe) yesterday! Three working days. Think about that, Barnes & Noble.

I haven't received my order yet either, though it seems a little soon to assume that it's gone missing.

Feel free to email us at [email protected]. All domestic orders went out on Wednesday, so depending on where you are in the US, it could take a few days.

Emails were only sent to international buyers because these orders needed to be processed outside our website.

Ah, I guess that means I misunderstood the e-mails. Hopefully comes soon then.
