We're so thrilled to be celebrating our 1-year anniversary today that we thought we'd treat you guys and reveal two cult favorites we have planned for Blu-ray releases before the end of this year: 1982's THE BEAST WITHIN and 1986's CRAWLSPACE!

No details to provide at this time but more will become clear on them in late Summer.

Mystery Science Movie is an unsurprising but very welcome announcement. Never got around to picking up the UK disc, but I'm sure the Shout release will have much more extras.

Mystery Science Movie is an unsurprising but very welcome announcement. Never got around to picking up the UK disc, but I'm sure the Shout release will have much more extras.

So far, the extras are confirmed to be:

– The Making of Mystery Science Theater 3000 The Movie (the EPK that fans have probably seen around)
– Two new docs from Ballyhoo: “Mystery Science Theater 3000 The Movie: The Motion Picture Odyssey” (including new interviews with cast and crew and never-before-seen behind the scenes footage) and “This Island Earth: 2 1/2 Years In the Making.”


No official word on whether or not the deleted scenes will be included. Fingers crossed!

I love this movie! An awesome trailer and the film pretty much lives up to it.

The Face Of Marble (1946)
Engrossed in his mission to bring the dead back to life, Dr. Randolph fails to notice his wife Elaine's interest in his young lab associate, Dr. Cochran. However, their old housekeeper Maria does take note and will do anything, including using her voodoo powers, to see to it that Elaine is happy. B&W 72 Min.

I Bury The Living (1958)
Through a series of chilling coincidences, the newly-elected director of a cemetery (Richard Boone) begins to believe that he can cause the deaths of living owners of burial plots by merely changing the push-pin color from white (living) to black (dead) on a large wall map of the cemetery. B&W, 67 Minutes

The Four Skulls Of Jonathan Drake (1959)
While attending his brother's funeral Jonathan Drake is shocked to find the head of his sibling is missing. When his brother's skull shows up later in a locked cabinet, Drake realizes an ancient curse placed upon his grandfather by a tribe of South American Indians is still in effect and that he is probably the next victim. B&W, 70 Minutes

The Snake Woman (1961)
A doctor in 1890 England, in order to cure his wife's "sick mind", injects her with snake venom. She later gives birth to a daughter whom the villagers call "The Devil's Baby" and in a fit of fear they end up burning the family's house down. Years later a Scotland Yard detective is sent to the village to investigate a rash of deaths that are caused by snakebite. B&W, 68 Minutes

Those are pretty fun. I Bury the Living is probably most notable for being an early Band film.

Shout has said that they don't have the rights to do the INCREDIBLE MELTING MAN episode of MST3K.

What?! How does that make any sense? If they got the rights to release the main film, and they have a deal with MST3K, surely they can easily get the rights to release the MST3K version.....

I'm not sure, but I think in order to do the MST3K version, they need to get permission from the film's owner and they couldn't get permission for INCREDIBLE MELTING MAN.

Fans have been asking us if we could exploit more of this made-for TV content so consider this an “experiment”. If this sells well, we would love to look into bringing you a “Volume 2”. (Dec 2012)

CAT PEOPLE (Collector’s Edition) – The 1982 feline flick (with Nastassja Kinski, sex, violence and a great David Bowie single) arrives on Blu for the first time with all-new extras (2014.)

We still have more tricks up our sleeves for 2014 and we are working feverishly on trying to close deals so that we can announce more favorites soon!
