Possibly, yet the compression of the name accompanying the image proved an obstacle to translation (I could not determine how to arrange the name).

This film apparently features the actress Keiko Takahashi (I scrolled down the filmography but could not find the appropriate calligraphic characters).

Kirsanoff's Brumes D'Automne. It'd be nice, to say the least, if the person posting the video on YouTube gave credit where it's due.

Thanks, it appears I missed it when I was sampling the Avant-Garde set. I don't expect much from Youtube posters, but if the guy knows Kirsanoff it's safe to assume he isn't some young kid and should know better.

Um, he does give credit where credit is due. If you hit "Show more" under the description, you'll see this: "Images from Dimitri Kirsanoff's "Brumes d'automne," aka "Autumn Mists" (1929)."

You're right; I missed that (I guess Murdoch did as well).
I could state a personal opinion about hacking a chunk out of a lovely short film to serve as a makeshift music video, but I'd probably just come across as a purist of some sort. If it helps people discover Kirsanoff, it's probably to the good.

4 The actress is Barbara Steele, but I think it's more 8 1/2 or Young Torless than the Bava film.

Picture number 10 is absolute beautiful !!!

I think Young Torless is right for 4, capture 6 seems to have eluded everyone.

Don't set your hopes too high....this is Vintenberg's Southland Tales. I didn't much care for Dear Wendy either.
