The strawberries looked like grenades to me in the beginning, but two hints for Carlos would be too much i suppose...

Hey everyone, here is our list of what we think the drawing represents. There are a couple that we can't figure out.

Could the boat represent L'atalante and the kid/pillow Zero for Conduct? It's been a while for me...

Yep, the suitcase is definitely Kiss me Deadly, and it seems the Pillow kid is probably Zero for Conduct - which means New Yorker titles really are a possibility! And I think the calender is People on Sunday as well.

So, man tied to boat, the boat itself (although I guess L'Atalante will probably come if Zero is, the boat is very different, looks more like a military patrol boat?), snowflakes (if anything), Fellini-esq woman?

Good job, guys. You're doing such a great job so Bill Melidoneas can claim he cracked all these clues on the Criterion Facebook page.

The Woody Allen character looks a lot like his jester outfit from Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex.

Also, I think the circle on Sunday is LE CERCLE ROUGE on Blu.

You are too harsh on poor Bill, the Facebook page is his claim to fame!

Pillow kid is definitely Zero for Conduct, but it doesn't mean anything for New Yorker. Janus has owned that film for a very long time. They just didn't really have an avenue for releasing it before, because they didn't have any other Vigo to pair it with, and it's a very short film.

So, L'Atalante looks like a real possibility?

The man in the dress is definitely, finally Cul-de-sac. The man in the dress on the left, that is.

Good call! I was thinking Some Like It Hot, but after a quick image search, I have to agree. I'll update my post on CriterionCast, and credit you with that one.

I was wondering why that looked more like a head-wrap than hair!

Are the handcuffs/chains part of this clue? I don't remember that from Cul-de-sac off the top of my head.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say the snowflakes are a clue for Landscape in the Mist.

What about the hooded bear?

Could the snow landing on the waves be Michael Snow's Wavelength?

The "swim suit lady" reminds me of grapes being stomped. She's pulling up her dress a bit while doing so.

I just don't see a dress, at the top or bottom. It's clearly a one piece, now if it's a dress or a swim suit is a opinion. Since the bottom looks like underwear/swim suit and it's all a one piece, I say swim suit. She could be dancing or just in a weird position.

Maybe it's a 60's beach party movie.

Okay, but still looks like grapes being stomped.
