I think it's completely appropriate: an ironic appropriation of the ugly, cluttered Photoshop-layering style of DVD cover that hints at the tacky incongruities of the film's setting. Well done.

I have no idea of if you're being sarcastic or not. (But then, I'm from Generation X)

I completely agree with Gregory, and not in a sarcastic way.

No, I was being completely sincere. As for wheezy and pockmarked wagon, after Bukowski everyone else is just an amateur. From one of his readings: " *hack* *choke*!! [To audience:] You'd love to see me die!"

Before the tirades start, we went with an ironic cover for MAKE WAY FOR TOMORROW, based on an original British release poster. We know the film isn't all smiles and we're not that bothered about "misrepresenting" it -- we think it's funny/sad to present it like this - especially since Criterion nailed the sleeve already.

Is Make Way region locked?

Can't say I like the cover at all, even with the explanation. Sometimes wrong is wrong, even with a good reason!

Has there ever been a cover you did like? You sure are one tough customer.
