I much prefer the red, and making the banner at the top darker does wonders for the balance of the whole composition.

On their website, the border is black now instead of brown.

Sorry, but this is for me the weakest by far of the Pialat covers. I think the monotone cheapens it and I don't really understand what's being conveyed. Is a derivative of either Gaumont covers really so shabby?

That second cover is way better. Beautiful.

The first cover was definitely better but they're both still pretty blah

I agree with Domino, less detail is lost with the orange

Wonderful - and if the third one isn't quite as good as the first two, that's wholly appropriate! Incidentally, they used the same poster for the first film as ship_destroyer did.

Can't wait for this. Are we to assume that it'll be three standard-sized clear cases within a slipcover?

Yup, in a matte hardbox. Matches KEATON / SHOAH / NARUSE. As does the forthcoming LUBITSCH box, which is about to be Twitsclusified.

Even though I won't double-dip on this one, I must say: absolutely glorious cover art!

That is a gorgeous cover, although it`s too bad about the yellow rating logo. Can`t it be made transparant??

I hope the quality will be improved over the previous Eureka transfer that was kinda meh.

But knowing how MoC always does things right, I know this will be an amazing disc.

Woah, nice! I wonder if this will be region-free though. I wouldn't be surprised if Criterion wanted to put this out on Blu soon, in which case they might have exclusive rights to sell in Region A.

Great choice for the M cover. I've had the same poster hanging in my den for a decade. I've always wondered why it was never considered as cover art. Great job MoC. =D>

Damn you MoC! I'll just have to buy the City Girl DVD.

And "L'Argent"... and "Edvard Munch"... and "Il Grido"... and "Phantom"... and "Rocco and his Brothers"... and "Salesman"... and "Toni"...
