I'm betting that Criterion includes both the Academy and SuperScope versions, leaving the cover art as the only thing to complain about.

There are no shareholders; Criterion is a privately-owned company.

Image has a distribution agreement with Criterion, but it does not own Criterion.

Not to be a curmudgeon, but am I the only one who misses the newsletters from a few months ago--the ones that provided a bit of interesting trivia about each film, rather than just a blurb?

I'm with you there. It gave a good taster of some of the anecdotes to be found in the extra features!
