I wish the newsletter would have explained why Christa Lang-Fuller was around. Is this for the rereleases of Shock Corridor and The Naked Kiss, or possibly the early films (which I assume will be Eclipse meaning no extras), or possibly White Dog? Or maybe all, or some unknown surprise. I want to know!

I just saw someone came up with 21? Did that include best actress winners? I was wondering about that, since some use the term Actor in an androgynous sense, and then modify it by saying "Best Performance by a Female Actor," and "Best Performnace by a Male Actor" etc. I played it safe, and stuck with male actors, hence, eighteen. And, that does not include the laserdiscs. Shoot, I always forget about those!

It's been a poorly kept secret that Criterion has the rights to Fuller's The Baron of Arizona, I Shot Jesse James, and The Steel Helmet, and are waiting to release them (according to an e-mail from Jonathan Turell). Of course, whether these will be released as Criterions or as part of the Eclipse Line (or at all) remains to be seen.Derek Estes wrote:I wish the newsletter would have explained why Christa Lang-Fuller was around. Those are the "early films" to which Derek was referring.Via_Chicago wrote:It's been a poorly kept secret that Criterion has the rights to Fuller's The Baron of Arizona, I Shot Jesse James, and The Steel HelmetDerek Estes wrote:I wish the newsletter would have explained why Christa Lang-Fuller was around.
