Never heard of this label before, nor have I seen anything from them, but suprisingly, among the low-budget horror and independent films they offer, I have found that they are scheduled to release are several classics of Chinese cinema, among them Spring In A Small Town, and Street Angel. (see for yourself). Exciting news for people like me, who are interested in classic chinese cinema, but has never had a chance to view any.

I wonder if anyone can vouch for the quality of there releases (what? no fans of Mad Cowgirl or Dinosaur Valley Girls on this forum?).

I actually really enjoyed Mad Cowgirl, but that movie pretty much defines "limited appeal."

Well, any horror movie that freely references Ten Tigers from Kwangtung can't be all bad.

But its Bleak Future that seems to be the horror film to watch in their catalogue.

Also, I like that Raise the Castle is described as "Akira Kurosawa meets Monty Python". However, analogies like that hardly ever check out.

And The Noah appears to be worth a watch (including positive words from DVD Beaver)
