More recently in HBO’s Watchmen series. I remember watching the Iron Eagle movies on cable in the 90’s.

He is also in the first 1989 version of The Punisher, with Dolph Lundgren. As well as in Robert Aldrich's The Choirboys, which sort of anticipated the (much tamer!) Police Academy films!

Criterion-wise, one of his first films was in the Sidney Poitier starring A Raisin In The Sun.

I remember him mostly from JAWS 3-D which I believe he was filming when he won the Oscar. Ditto Michael Caine on the next one...

The only good thing to come out of those Jaws sequels (that and the house Caine bought for his mother).

I really enjoy Michael Ritchie’s Diggstown, with him as a boxer forced to go through multiple matches in a single day

I just watched The Deep for the first time. LG Jr. is by far the best thing in it. Always solid, even in bad films.

The White Dawn comes to mind when I hear his name, even if his character is the least interesting of the leads in that film.
