Un film dramatique had been playing physical venues in the EDU space for quite some time. We will have more news on that next year!

Excellent news! Any chance at all of seeing Blu-rays for Around a Small Mountain and Night Across the Street?

Matías Piñeiro's Isabella is coming on Blu-ray. Or maybe it's already out?

I hope they upgrade their DVD of Viola too at some point - I think it's miles better than Isabella

Ditto. I was told they'd be releasing it on Blu-ray in 2021, but I'm still waiting.

Cinema Guild have picked up Pedro Costa's nine-minute short The Daughters of Fire and will release it on a double bill with Hong Sangsoo's In Water. I guess it makes sense given that the Hong film is barely an hour long, but it does feel like an odd pairing.

There's an add in the back of the new Cinema Scope that shows Denis' 35 Shots of Rum and Hong's Walk Up coming this Fall on Blu.

Finally! Excellent news. I remember being excited to see the Denis in my local art house theatre in its original run, but it was projected from a DVD. They blamed the distributor when I complained. Can’t wait to finally have a good HD copy.

They just showed on twitter that Typhoon Club will be a UHD release. Not sure if that was already known.
Extras on our 4K UHD release of Typhoon Club will include new conversations with filmmaker Kiyoshi Kurosawa and actress Yuki Kudo discussing Typhoon Club and their work with Shinji Somai, plus an essay by Chris Fujiwara, and more to be announced soon...
