That's what I thought. The individual DVDs of the Watkins boxset are sold cheap at Amazon Marketplace, which is why I was uncertain about the price. I bought Gladiators for around 4.99 two weeks ago.

That's news to me! I guess that means the Watkins series is over and there will be no Evening Land or Seventies People releases? Yet they released The Gladiators, one of Watkins' most unwatchable films!
Project X has teamed up with Cinema Guild and will continue the Watkins releases later this year with THE JOURNEY. EVENINGLAND is also coming, but when it does come is not yet clear. SEVENTIES PEOPLE hopefully will come soon, but the rights for that film are a bit messy, and no doubt that is what is slowing down the project.
Also, I imagine that CG will release all of the NYer PX titles back onto DVD at some point.
I've already posted literally all I know. It's already in the region list because I'm 100% certain that it'll be Region B, as I've had sight of the contract - so it made sense to kill off speculation before it had a chance to build.

I am surprised because it's the only one without a release date yet 8-[
Has anyone talked to Oliver of Project X about this? Last time I checked, he had the rights to the best print available of the film. Did the BFI license that restoration from Project X?
