What the hell, this is good drama.
I just got a very robotic voicemail that states "You have reached InterFilmArt Entertainment. Thanks for calling and please leave a message."

Looks fantastic.
I see they've still been in business
since 2005 and
since 1979, even though no one ever heard of them until just now and they've never released anything.
According to
this page, the set will also include "an actual 35mm film cell
from a fine grain master print from the director's personal collection."
...maybe!
We offer the finest in world cinema from such outstanding international directors as Bergman, Fellini, Dreyer, Welles, Hitchcock, Renoir, Godard, Rossellini, De Sica, Cocteau ,and many others.
Uh, no you don't.

it's a pretty damn attractive package
Pristine 35mm restored Bluray HD/DVD + Ultraviolet version available for the first time.
BONUS MATERIALS include the director's documentaries, "Der Sieg des Glaubens" (1933, "Victory of Faith"), "Tag der Freiheit - unsere Wehrmacht" (1935, "Day of Freedom - Our Armed Forces"), etc. Theatrical poster/photo gallery containing many rare images, Original Soundtrack Recording (CD), full-color booklet detailing the history and production, a collectible original 35mm celluloid film frame.
Reproduction of original theatrical admission ticket with "Triumph des Willens" printed on the ticket.
CD-ROM of Leni Riefenstahl's book on the making of the film entitled, "Hinter den kulissen des Reichsparteitagesfilm" ("Behind the Scenes of the Part Rally Film", 1935, FRanz Ehrer Verlag, NSDAP , Munich
An actual 35mm celluloid motion picture film frame from the film
Sadly, you know what they say about something that sounds too good to be true

Wow, Ultraviolet *and* a CD-ROM. What a package. Shame it's not got BD-Live though.
I hope someone blows these chancers apart before anyone loses money.

They certainly are a litigious group. Where will they find the money to file all these copyright and libel lawsuits if they won't, by their own admission, turn a profit from this release?

During "Powaqqatsi" I saw an "IFA" truck driving in the background. Exact same logo, yes.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised that there's a Tractors and Construction Plant wiki. This is the internet, after all...

Really wish a company like that did exist. Why can't Synapse, criterion, or KINO restore the stuff they're claiming to?

Because they don't lie about what they're working on/ have only x amount of dollars for restoration.

Fantasy is right. Fantasy is sometimes something you wish were actually real but isn't. That's what this is.
Like I said, I wish Synapse, criterion, or KINO did some of that. Sure they might not have enough cash to do EVERYTHING on that list. But never mind everything. Besides Synapse releasing Triumph of the Will, they don't tackle anything from that sector of cinema.

No one does. Honestly, I think it will take some massive, high-profile Brownlow-style documentary to ever get people to start reconsidering the troublesome waters of Third Reich cinema. And it would be a fantastic subject for one!

There is
International Historic Films, who offer quite a wide selection of Third Reich cinema in their catalogue.
I've seen and/or own some of their Third Reich releases and found them all watchable, though print quality and transfer method seems to vary, and I think most titles are DVD-R, unless that has changed since I bought
Ohm Krüger (which also has a light strobing effect throughout). A few are taken from 35mm and I think all their releases have contextualising extras, quite extensive in some cases. R Dixon Smith (who used to work for Eureka/MoC when he lived in the UK) provides written essays for some of their releases.
IHF is at least a bonafide company who, in my experience, deliver what they promise, and I believe they try their best within their limited means.
