Thanks to the wonders of random desktop, every time my mac goes to sleep I wake it up to a new wallpaper (that vast majority of which are Criterion covers from you guys). Thanks!

Two more from Marcus (what should we do without him?):
Drunken Angel
Paul Robeson
They are both great but Drunken Angel has become and instant favourite and I trust it will stay as my personal WP for a loooong time.
Both available in full size at
The Criterion Dungeon

What an absolute bonanza. Thanks for the tremendous work. I have about 85 rotating on desktop and on screensaver. The only one I am missing is 409 Days of Heaven. Any chance this will see the light? Again, great work.

The site is on hold at the moment as no one is able to supply new wallpapers due to time issues. If anyone is up for the challenge or want to help running the site feel free to contact me. Thanks for the kudos by the way, that is the solve reason why we started the crazy project.

Is there any way to access the wallpapers not linked to on this thread aside from having a photobucket account? It looks like an idiot co-worker of mine decided over the weekend to erase my folder which contained about 50 saved wallpapers. ](*,) I've managed to recover only a handful I had backed up on my pen drive back when I first discovered the site a few years ago.

Hope it's
legal, but simply paste the following URL:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v471/hammock/Criterion%20Collection/Wall/0001.jpg
on your browser and then manually change the last digits to the corresponding spine numbers. It seems to work fine up to #399.

Thanks JAP for helping out Arthur. Appreciated... and legal!
The good news is that we will be updating the new site with ALL the old wallpapers and that new wallpapers will be added. Right now we focus on completing the CC label and it looks to go faster than expected now that help has been offered. Hopefully we can publish the CC section in less than 3 weeks.

Nice to get some feedback. I've added two MYA wallpapers and CC are up to the first 100 spine#'s and counting. Whent the CC catalog is up-to-date new wallpapers will be added. It's a big job but I really like the way the new site is structured and I'm getting help from some Danish buddies to finish things, so should be finished soon.

Massive updates has been made during the last two weeks. We are more than half way with Criterion and lots of other labels have been added. Enjoy!

For the most part, looking good. The site layout feels very cramped though.

Thanks and yes, it does look cramped but we cannot change it as it works from a template - wish we could though.
