Doubtful. Again, there's a Region A release from FA. And it's licensed from Universal, and all the Universal Indicator blu-rays are locked.

Very, very few Eureka releases are region free - I don’t think I have a single one demarcated as one since Drunken Master. There was a year or two where many releases were functionally region free because you could just press menu on the region locked screen regardless of player (The Last Waltz and Irma la Douce were like this). But it’s definitely not something I expect from their releases the way it’s a bit more common from Arrow, for instance.

Here you go : 1080p presentation on Blu-ray for the first time in the UK from a brand new 4K restoration

Hoping Cohen gets going on those Keatons for Region 1.

They've already released all of these. With the exception of Our Hospitality, which is out from Kino.

Nope -- Cohen hasn't released GO WEST or COLLEGE. Unsure why Kino got the Lobster release of OUR HOSPITALITY.

Kino is the U.S. distributor for all of the Lobster restorations, and Our Hospitality entered the public domain last year, so Cohen no longer has any exclusive claim. The Cohen/Cineteca di Bologna restoration premiered in 2017 and I'm sure Cohen will do their own Blu eventually, though it's a little perplexing how they've been dragging their feet on their Keatons given that they're regularly slipping into public domain (the copyright on Go West expires next year).

If I'm not mistaken, when Cohen started releasing some on BDs, the restorations were still ongoing for some of the movies.

The customary Amazon leaks:

Kwaidan (MoC, reissue)

This Gun for Hire (Eureka Classics)

Made in Hong Kong (Masters of Cinema)

I have to say at some point Eureka decided to start hitting it out of the park, I might buy practically everything they release this year!

I think there was a year or two recently where I basically just started ignoring their announcements. But there recent output has been great.

I feel like their roadmap is determined months in advance. The year or two after they had all that staff shift around, there were definitely some quality issues and interest waned. I feel like we are now seeing the releases they probably licensed when a few years ago they mentioned being out-bid for things like Grey Gardens. So by not being able to license some more popular titles, we started getting the stuff we have seen over the last year and a half or so.

Criterion has that one in the US and since it was a part of the same package as the Showa Godzillas, I assume that they have it in the UK

I wonder what extra's The Painted Bird will have. The Czech disc has a second disc with a 'making of' which includes English subtitles. If MoC can come up with different extras I might double-dip.
