Anyone want to guess the URL?
http://www.criterion.com/films/27534-Name-Goes-Here" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Hyphens between each word in the title. "The" is included where applicable.
Only works for new spine though. . .

With Criterion matching their releases with Blu-ray now, I wouldn't be surprised if many smaller titles get's the shove for a future date.

Cronos and Videodrome in December? It's official: Criterion is running two months behind (but I imagine these will be under many a Christmas tree and Hanukkah bush).

TNT got away with it.

Just two according to Criterion! Only one release in December for me.... (Videodrome)

So much for telling us that an Andrea Arnold film was entering the collection this year. Although, we were supposed to get Cronos 15 months ago or so... so.

That BBS set must have about killed them. They all went on vacation after putting it to bed.

Wonder why the BBS set was so tough on them if they were largely just porting from Sony?

I'm just talking through my hat. December has always been a light month for Criterion.

Pretty long stretch without an Eclipse.

For something comprehensive, I would think an Ozu box might be more fulfilling.
Not that I wouldn't welcome a Bergman box...especially if that meant Blu.
EDIT: I realize his 80s, 90s, and 00s are television works.
I'd much rather have a Wim Wenders Road Trilogy boxset \:D/

And we haven't had an Essential Art House since April. I think that line is dead.

I wish they would begin to share my view that Eclipse is the main line and CC is the poor relations.

Well I'm very excited about both December's releases! But if we are talking about long delays after announcements aren't we still waiting for People On Sunday to get a release, and that was mentioned as coming soon years ago!
It is a shame about Essential Art House if it is on hiatus, though I did my bit last month and finally got around to picking up Kapò.

I never got around to picking up Last Holiday before it went OOP, and I'm still kicking myself because I'm a huge Queen Latifah fan.

Every once in a while comes a post I could be persuaded to "Like" if such an option existed on the board, which it should never

could criterion ever license the fisher king? i mean they did the laserdisc after all...its gilliams best film, no contest, in my opinion, and amanda plummer's fierce acting needs to be in the collection in some form. GOD i love amanda plummer

Sony licensed the title to Image Entertainment. I would say chances are decent that either they'll eventually release it through Criterion or use the extras from the Criterion laserdisc on a special edition from Image.
They have a new barebones release coming out on Dec.7

Have you seen Butterfly Kiss? It's the kind of film that will either seal your affection for Amanda Plummer forever or cause you to always feel a little uncomfortable around people with piercings from that point onward. Either way its a film that once seen can never be forgotten(!) and really stands as one of her very best performances.

I was always partial to Freeway. She is so emotionally unhinged. Ramona gives the film its heart.
