Hopefully, but there’s still been enough interesting discussion to warrant a nom

Sorry - I didn't mean to imply that it is not worthy as is. It's great.

The first post should be updated up to this post.
Going forward:
+ Please clearly label if you are nominating or seconding
+ IMPORTANT: if a title already appears in the category you’re nominating/seconding in the first post, please do not post that title again for those categories
+ If I missed a seconded title, PM me or flag in the thread
+ Please make new posts versus editing posts— I will not see your edited post

I NOMINATE The Emperor's New Groove (Disney) for BEST UPGRADE.
Btw, I tried to [strike][/strike] out the titles I had nominated as they were seconded, so that people wouldn't second again by mistake, but apparently you can't [strike] on here.

You could always color code in your earlier post to indicate a title has already been seconded (if you so desire)

Don't forget to add Angel's Egg 4K, Jean Vigo 4K and Pee-Wee 4K to the first post. I'd nominated them for best release (though to be fair, my wording should have been clearer).

Someone would need to 'second' the nominations for them to go into the OP though, right?
Pee-Wee was nominated for BEST UPGRADE by AfterTheRain on page #1, fwiw.
I would like to second the nominations for Angel's Egg and the Vigo set (sorry, not a Pee-Wee fan [*ducks*]).
Dead of Night (Studio Canal) has been nominated+seconded for BEST RELEASE.

Yes, it would need to be seconded for the specific category. I’ll second it though

Updated. I seconded the Une femme douce cover
Starting now, I’ll be updating the main list once a week or so. If you catch anyone cheating with their claims of seconds, you have my permission to rap their knuckles lightly with a Bergman box

If it is OK I will just do my standard post this year, though I still have a few things to get to, so it may be a few weeks yet, but I would note that the two big themes of the year in discs have been Severin's tribute to the 50th anniversay of Jaws with their Italian Jaws-sploitation releases (plus the novelisation of Jaws 5: Cruel Jaws!); and that, much as 2024 worked out as a really nice physical media tribute to Vincent Price, 2025 probably belongs to William Hurt with Arrow's dual releases of 1998's Dark City and Lost In Space, and Criterion's release of Altered States and A History of Violence in the same month (plus Criterion announcing Kiss of the Spider Woman for January)

I nominate Kino's Oscar Micheaux: The Complete Collection for Best Overall Release. Who knows how much longer we'll get to enjoy projects like this from the Library of Congress?
