Joshua Tree (aka Army of One as it was retitled in the UK originally) is perhaps most notable as the directing debut of Vic Armstrong, who did a number of the stunts in the Bond films (and appears to have been Harrison Ford's go-to stunt double throughout the 1980s!) and eventually was the Second Unit Action Director of a lot of the Pierce Brosnan run.
Though there was a long gap between Joshua Tree and Armstrong's next theatrical feature, the 2014 Nicolas Cage starring Christian Rapture film, Left Behind.
