From Mr. Michael Hochhaus, about Four Flies on Grey Velvet release:
Here are some special-features-screenshots from the upcoming German DVD/Blu-ray edition.

The mediabook-edition will include a featurette "Der Fall der Fliegen" (The Case of the Flies / 95 minutes) with screenwriter Luigi Cozzi, actor Bud Spencer, director Dario Argento (an archival interview, it's hard these days to make an interview with Dario) and a location comparison in Rome and "Autopsie einer Fliege" (Autopy of a fly / 25 minutes) with filmhistorian and Argento-colleague Antonio Tentori + image gallery + German trailer in HD + Italian and English trailers. The special features will be subtitled in English. Release date around april/may.
Koch Media are planning to release some interesting titles in limited edition series (Blu-ray + DVD + bonus DVD, mediabook packaging).

These titles are certain:

Tetsuo (already released)
Inferno
Videodrome
Flesh + Blood
Army of Darkness
Darkman
&
Four Flies on Grey Velvet
Night Train Murders
is under question.

Here are photos of Inferno:

Koch Media licensed the movie from 20th Century Fox and sub-licensed it to Camera Obscura - they did the same with Karate, Küsse, Blonde Katzen from a different licensee, though. During the production of the disc it was announced that due to legal constraints, Koch Media has to release on its own.

To sum it up: Camera Obscura produced the discs, Koch Media is just releasing them.

Furthermore you won't be able to buy the Inferno disc from Amazon.de directly, since it's still on the index - "German video nasties".

djvaso, when you mention Tetsuo, I assume you mean this release: http://shop.dtm.at/product_info.php?products_id=45429 ?

has anyone seen this one, or have any info on how the original film looks? Is The Iron Man on BD or DVD only. and of course are the films and extras English-friendly?
thanks

Yes, I do.
I have realized very recently that there is also a Blu-ray only release of Tetsuo: The Bullet Man.
Tetsuo: The Iron Man is on DVD disc in this set. The main feature has English audio but I don't know about extras (trailer, featurette "Shooting The Sun", interview with Shinya Tsukamoto).

Does this series usually have optional subs? I discovered they are fixed on the French DVD of Apache Drums.

Optional subtitles. Haven't encountered a Koch Media disc that has fixed ones.

I recently donated some video material to Koch for their upcoming BD releases of Army Of Darkness and Darkman - from what I've heard so far, Raimi fans should be extremely pleased when these discs come out next year.

The Masque of the Red Death is coming in June. Michael Hochhaus, product manager at Koch Media:

Destry Rides Again (1939) will be released in March 2014 in theirs Western Legenden edition (Blu-ray and DVD).
It seems that Arabian Nights (1942), Ali Baba And the Forty Thieves (1944) and Bagdad (1949) will be in HD also in a boxset.

Looks like instead of Bagdad (1949) it includes The Golden Blade (1953)

Classic Western Collection Vol. 1 blu-ray forthcoming in May. Contains:
Red Sundown (Jack Arnold)
Saskatchewan (Raoul Walsh)
The Appaloosa (Sidney J. Furie)

Koch also recently released this box of 10 Westerns on dvd, which probably hints some of the titles in forthcoming volumes since both Saskatchewan and The Appaloosa are included.

Three solid titles right there. I will be crossing my fingers that this set turns out well, Koch's transfers in their Western Lengenden line have been all over the place, from sublime (Western Union) to travesty (The Last Sunset), many in between.
