Works have been doing "or" titles forever, I doubt it has anything to do with it

Birds Of Prey is undergoing massive, "Rogue One situation" reshoots to change the motivation of Ewan McGregor's villain:
The original plot concerned a younger female character hunted by McGregor (who is reportedly playing his character as campy gay) because she swallowed a diamond belonging to him, within which is microfilm containing dick pics of McGregor's character (no, really). The entire storyline is being scrubbed and replaced with something different, supposedly because of concerns over the female character's age and McGregor's effeminate performance, and definitely not because this was a horrendous idea that would have played even worse in 2020.

As usual, the issue is how such ideas were greenlit in the first place. I mean : if there is an industry who should know by now it's cheaper to get it right from the start than re-hauling the whole thing 75% through, it should be Hollywood.

Sounds incredible. Don't know why they'd want to change it.

You jest, but "diamond with microfilm dick pics inside" really does read like a pixelatedboat joke about macguffins

Bounding Into Comics is a known right leaning crank news outlet and probable alt right propaganda rag, so take whatever they say about pedophilia and something with James Gunn in it with a grain of salt.

While it's political leaning may not necessarily make some information relayed untrue (In relation to the "leaked" original plot) words cannot stress how bad that site really is outside of that article. Holy cow at some of the commentators in this article
here.

Reminds me a bit of the

I’m guessing they’re going for ‘conked on the head and seeing birds ala a cartoon’.

As a side note, after years of deliberation, I'd like to propose that the original version of that joke is the greatest gag in the history of the show

New trailer, channeling a certain song from
Gentlemen Prefer Blondes no doubt as part of the earlier axed diamond storyline

Hopefully, it'll be better than Suicide Squad, which in one hand should be quite easy to pull off considering Suicide Squad, but on the other hand, well, there's always worse.

WB can cut interesting trailers for sure. But I said the same thing about Suicide Squad and that was gutter trash.
I get the faintest impression from the marketing of this movie that this is an ego project for Robbie. Nothing wrong about that though.

I'll go to see this for the exact same reason I'm going to see Joker and took time out for Venom: The lead performer is someone who, to this point, is always worth the trip.

The last two trailers for this movie make it look fun. There's a kind of 60s Batman TV show vibe to the characters and the mayhem. The action looks much clearer and cooler than anything in any of these recent DC movies. And the take on Harley Quinn comes closer to what's being presented in the current Harley Quinn cartoon, which makes her way more cute and appealing.
On the other hand, there's still that clunky title, reminding me I shouldn't get my hopes up too high. And I remember that some of the trailers for Suicide Squad made it look a bit like Escape from New York, and that got me interested (and then, of course, it was Suicide Squad).

Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn was the only watchable and redeemable aspect of Suicide Squad. Might give this a watch when is starts streaming.

Early notices for Birds of Prey are very positive, although the screening was obviously juiced with exactly the sorts of critics/online bloggers who would have loved this whether it was any good or not. One tweet that called it a live action Looney Tunes cartoon piqued my interest most, and people seem thrilled with Robbie's performance.
